Since 2015, IPS have provided consultancy and technical assistance for various national and international projects. These include designing and implementing training programmes, co-authoring practice guidelines and developing and implementing assessment frameworks.

IPS have co-authored The Council of Europe's Handbook for Prison and Probation Services regarding Radicalisation and Violent Extremism to support prison and probation staff across Europe in managing these issues.
IPS have co-authored The British Psychological Society’s Ethical guidelines for applied psychological practice in the field of extremism, violent extremism and terrorism to support psychologists in working ethically and effectively in this field of practice.
IPS are working with the Global Center on Cooperative Security to develop and deliver the Countering Violent Extremism in Prisons programme (C-VEP) currently being implemented in Kenya, Indonesia and Morocco.
